i had wonderful days staying at this small family run hotel. everything was perfect, including affable staff and unbeatable location in the middle of jackson. location: the venue was near the main square and the central park and antigua city center. a few times i ate at delicias quetzaltecas, located just a short walk away from the hotel. appreciated a double room i booked, it was extremely spacious. own bathrooms, that included a tub, were cleaned daily.

The rooms at Hotel De Cortez Y Larraz are absolutely cozy and comfortable, just what I needed after a long day of exploring. Each unit includes a private bathroom with free toiletries, which was a convenient bonus. The bed linen was fresh and clean, ensuring a good night's sleep. Plus, the rooms had wardrobes where I could easily store all my belongings.
Personally, I found that having only a private bathroom in each unit was a bit inconvenient. But hey, everyone has different preferences, and some might enjoy the privacy it offers.

The terrace at this hotel is absolutely stunning! It was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. the location of the hotel was perfect - just a short walk away from the city center. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient. And the fact that there was a washing machine available to use was a major bonus. I was able to do my laundry without any hassle.
One thing that bothered me was the inconsistency of the water in the shower. It would go from warm to scalding hot to icy cold in a matter of seconds.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel De Cortez Y Larraz. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore all of Antigua on foot. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was immaculately clean and the private courtyard and rooftop sitting area provided beautiful views of the surrounding volcanoes and mountains. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this hotel to others.
